The National Advisory Board consists of leaders from the sports, business, and medical communities who volunteer their time and talent to the Concussion & CTE Foundation® to help us achieve our mission.
The Veteran Advisory Board consists of military veterans, medical experts, military brain donor family members, and public and private sector professionals who are committed to helping us solve the invisible wounds of war. The mission of the Veteran Advisory Board is to support Project Enlist by raising awareness, building strategic partnerships, and helping the Concussion & CTE Foundation acquire the resources needed for Project Enlist to thrive.
The Concussion & CTE Foundation’s regional advisory boards are formal chapters whose goal is to deepen the Foundation’s roots in Boston, California, Chicago, Cleveland, and New York. Our community programs are focused on education, awareness and patient services, and our local advisory boards help bring those programs to as many people as possible with the greatest possible impact. The Legacy Family Community is made up of family members who became connected to the Concussion & CTE Foundation® as a result of the loss of a loved one who had been impacted by brain injury through sports, military service or other means. It was created, in part, as a means to show our appreciation to our Legacy Donor families by keeping them informed on the progress of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) research that was made possible through their generous donation to the UNITE Brain Bank.
Members of the Legacy Family Community remain active in the fight against CTE and Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and are available to discuss their experience and answer questions regarding brain donation to those considering participation in this research.
