Philip de Picciotto has been at the forefront of the sports and entertainment industry for more than 40 years. He is a co-founder of Octagon, which has been recognized and consistently awarded for the quality of its work, breadth of services, global footprint and highly personalized approach to corporate marketing, talent representation, property ownership, event management and media rights advisory.

De Picciotto has been a leader in the industry’s globalization and many of its most important initiatives, including the removal of tobacco sponsorship from professional tennis and the introduction of healthier drinks into New York City’s public schools. He may be best known for building brands and overseeing the careers of many of the world’s most recognizable athletes and celebrities, ranging from Super Bowl champions to Olympic gold medalists to royalty to network broadcasters.

De Picciotto graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College and earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Supreme Court Bar Associations, was inducted into the Washington Business Hall of Fame, and serves as an officer and Executive Board Member of the Economic Club of Washington and a member of the National Advisory Boards of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, racquet sports start-up Swing, and the Concussion & CTE Foundation, among other worthy organizations.
