Collaboration
The Concussion & CTE Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to support athletes, veterans, and all affected by concussions and CTE. The Concussion & CTE Foundation HelpLine launched in 2019 and has provided free resources to more than 8,000 families worldwide.
We are proud to partner with ASU Athletics and Sun Devil Letterwinners to encourage open dialogue between former teammates and remove potential barriers to seeking care.
This service is available to all players and families affiliated with ASU’s 24 varsity sports and honors the memory of the seven former Sun Devils diagnosed with CTE to date: Larry Facchine ’64, Jason Franklin ’18, Benjamin Hawkins ’66, Jamaar Jarrett ’11, John Henry Johnson ’53, Charles Mackey ’56, and Frederick McClelland ’83.
