Stuart Harris
Stuart is a 60 year old Canberra man and feels that he is at risk of living CTE. He became aware of this possibility after watching the CTE relevant series called ‘Plum’ on the ABC last year experiencing behavioural and cognitive occurrences. Stuart played AFL from age 6 to 16 and then Rugby Union from age 17 until 30 suffering from a significant number of concussions and also being diagnosed an epileptic from age 11 until 17.
Stuart is a Citizen scientist, a published author and a  science communicator at Questacon; the National Science and Technology Museum.
Stuart has joined the Advisory Board to feel supported and informed whilst having an opportunity to help others.
He looks forward to contributing to advancements in regard to diagnosing CTE whilst sufferers are still alive and has taken steps to donate his brain to the Australian Sports Brain Bank.  Stuart is honoured to be part of the CLFA National Advisory Board and hope to serve it well.
