In Honour of Shane Christie
Shane Christie was an integral part of our Advisory Board and made a meaningful connection between NZ and Australia in the area of brain injury in sport, in particular CTE. Shane was a New Zealand rugby union player. Christie made appearances with Tasman, the Highlanders, and the Māori All Blacks. After repeated concussions ended his rugby career, he became an advocate for greater recognition of CTE.
We miss Shane dearly and hope to continue his legacy through CLF Australia.
